Returns and complaints handled in the same warehouse
Refused, returned and complained parcels come back to us. We inspect the goods, log the reason, restock what can be sold and set aside what cannot, all recorded in TopOMS.
What happens with a returned parcel
Receiving
The returned parcel is received and matched to the original order.
Inspection and reason
The goods are inspected and the reason is logged: refused, damaged, wrong size, changed mind.
Restock or set aside
Sellable items go back to stock immediately; the rest is handled by your rules.
Returns tell you what to fix
Returns recorded by reason show which products, sizes or descriptions cause problems. Repeatedly refusing customers are flagged, so cash-on-delivery losses shrink over time. Records and reports are in TopOMS.
Returns: frequently asked questions
What do you do with a returned parcel?
We receive it, inspect the goods, log the reason and put sellable items back into stock. Damaged or used items are set aside according to your rules.
Do I see returns in the software?
Yes. Every return is recorded in TopOMS with its reason, so you see which products and which reasons dominate.
Who covers the return shipping cost?
Courier costs for returns are shown as separate lines in the quote and depend on the courier and the reason.
